PFALZGRAF, Herbert E. Herbert E. Pfalzgraf, 92, of Willington, beloved husband of the late Anna (Paulson) Pfalzgraf, died Friday (April 13, 2012) in Vernon. Born in Shaftsbury, VT on September 15, 1919, son of the late Herbert Pfalzgraf, Sr., and Ethel (Bouplon) Pfalzgraf he had lived in Brooklyn, NY and East Hartford before moving to Rockville/Vernon 58 years ago. Before retiring he was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford for 30 years and by Ellington Agway for 40 years. He was a member of Rockville Methodist Church, was raised a Master Masion on 10/11/47 in Orient Lodge No. 62 in East Hartford (and on its merger, became a member of Columbia Lodge No. 25 in 2006) and was a Master Gardener at the Agricultural Center, Tolland. He leaves his children, Susan O'Neil of Brooksville, FL, Bruce Pfalzgraf of Vernon, Alice Sandas and husband, George of Garden City, NY; Nancy Humphrey and husband, James of Willington and David Pfalzgraf and wife, Karen of Oro Valley, AZ and ten grandchildren. His family will receive friends, Wednesday from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Ladd, Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, Vernon, followed by a funeral service at Noon.
