COLLINS, Jr., James A.
James A. Collins Jr. went into the hands of our Lord, on August 22, 2011. He was the son of the late James A. Collins Sr. and Priscilla Wendell and was the loving husband of 60 years to Mary J. (Yazel) Collins. Jim was a proud father, grandfather and patriot, serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. Jim was raised a Master Mason on October 9, 1984 in Manchester Lodge. 73 and was a member of Columbia Lodge No. 25 of Glastonbury. In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Pam and Larry Croxton of Groton, his son and daughter-in-law; Geoff and Jill Collins of Snowmass Village, CO. Jim also leaves his grandchildren whom he cherished dearly, Michael, Luke, Bethany and Alice Mary.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25th, at 11 a.m. at St. George's Church, 1150 Boston Tnpk (Rt 44), Bolton. A Calling hour of 10-11 a.m. will be prior to the service at the church.
