George H. Bole does not answer the call of the workmen

boleBOLE, George H. George H. Bole, 88, of Windsor Locks and formerly of East Hartford, peacefully passed away on Friday, (May 27, 2011) with his caring family by his side. George was the loving husband for 64 years to Joyce (Dengler) Bole. Born in Middletown on December 1, 1922, a son of the late George H. and Louise (Silliman) Bole, he had been a resident of East Hartford for over 50 years prior to moving to Windsor Locks four years ago. George was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1941 and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. An active Mason, George was a member and Past Master of both the Solar Lodge #131 AF & AM, Deep River and the Orient Lodge #62 AF & AM, East Hartford. Prior to his retirement in 1985, George was employed for over 26 years at UTC Research Center, East Hartford as an Electronics Technician. He was an avid gardener and loyal fan of both UCONN basketball teams (Men and Women), and a 50-year faithful member of South Congregational Church of East Hartford. However, most of all George was a proud grandfather of his two grandchildren and enjoyed spending quality time with them and his entire family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Norma Bole Wright of Chester. Along with his beloved wife, Joyce, George is survived by three sons; Paul Bole of Davenport, FL, Raymond Bole and his wife, Anne, of Laconia, NH, and William Bole and his wife, Donna, of Windsor Locks. He also leaves his two special grandchildren, Christopher Bole and Sarah Bole both of Windsor Locks; a sister-in-law, Christine Werner and her husband, Joseph, of Centerville, MA; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Funeral services will be Friday (June 3, 2011) with a graveside service at 10 a.m. with military honors at Fountain Hill Cemetery, High Street, Deep River. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at South Congregational Church, 1301 Forbes Street in East Hartford with Rev. Al Turner officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Congregational Church Memorial Gift Fund, 1301 Forbes Street, East Hartford, CT 06118 or to the Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance Charities, 401 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. The D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements. The family has requested a Masonic service to be performed during the Memorial Services at 11:30 AM at South Congregational Church In East Hartford after the burial.
Burial service will be at Fountain Hill Cemetery with military honors at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 3rd
